Beyond Copenhagen
Where to go for international climate policy?
The Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament is organising an event on 4 February in Brussels - Beyond Copenhagen: where to for international climate policy?
The purpose of this event is to offer an analysis of the disappointing outcome of the UN climate conference in Copenhagen, with a view to assessing what needs to be done to achieve an ambitious international agreement on climate change before the end of the year.
The event will take place from 10.30 until 18.00 in ASP A1G3. The morning session will be a public session, with high-level experts invited to speak on key issues for global climate policy. The afternoon session will be a strategy session for members of the Green family, with a view to defining our role in the process going forward.
